Maïlyse’s passion for design and love for stories and memories has led to Events by Maïlyse.

Growing up in France with 32 cousins under one roof, Maïlyse was immersed in family gatherings and events. There was always something to celebrate! From a young age, she discovered her flair for creating unique tablescapes and leading flower girls down the aisle.

Maïlyse began her career in home decor, where she honed her skills in sourcing, buying, product development, and design. Her budget-focused, creative, and detail-oriented approach, combined with her knack for negotiation, made her stand out in the industry. She always finds a creative way to make things work, even when the budget is tight.

It wasn’t until Maïlyse’s own wedding that she realized she could marry her passion with her technical skills to create an event planning and design business! 

When Maïlyse isn't creating events, you can find her sailing or tandem biking in Charleston with her husband. She loves to travel and seeks inspirations from new places and cultures.
